Workshop Description
"Writing is easy. All you have to do is cross out the wrong words.” (Mark Twain)
A central objective of science, the distribution and sharing of knowledge, can only be achieved, if results and conclusions are published. This workshop aims to provide a helpful guideline leading to successful manuscripts. Writing a scientific paper is less a matter of art, but rather a planable process that can be supported by several tools and techniques.
This workshop works out the steps involved, analyses story and structure of scientific publications, starting from a blank page to a draft, revising this and finally publishing your paper,
The workshop will include ex-cathedra teaching and discussions as well as group phases and the preparation of a self written homework (2-4 pages) between days 2 and 3.
