In November 2019 Prof. Dr. Gerd Heusch was named as one of the "Highly Cited Researchers“ by the Web of Science Group. This title is awarded „in recognition of exceptional research performance demonstrated by reproduction of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1 % for field and year in Cross-Field“.
