The Collaborative Research Center (SFB1116) congratulates Dr. Nilofar Ale-Agha and the group of Judith Haendeler and Joachim Altschmied (A04 / Molecular Cell & Aging Research, IUF Leibniz Institut für Umweltmedizinische Forschung) for the Poster Award at the Gerontoloy and Geriatrics Congress, Scientific Session “Living and Ageing – Functionality and Quality” in Stuttgart, September 2016.

The first place was awarded to their project "Mitochondrial Function of Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase in Cardiovascular Aging".
